24 kinds of the season's first tea grown in 16 areas in Shizuoka prefecture were collected for the tasting and sales corner of Shizuoka new tea leaves. Many visitors enjoyed the season’s first tea from the prefecture. Some exhibitors displayed and sold tea-related products and farm products, and other exhibitors offered their teas for tasting and sold them at the eating, drinking and sales corner.
Moreover, a total of 25 stage performances were given at the outdoor stage by seventeen groups including Nozomi Girl “Need”. The Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport venue was enlivened by events conducted inside the terminal building. There was a corner showing film on Shizuoka tea history, a corner offering free aroma hand massages using natural green tea leaves, and a corner where visitors could try operating a flight simulator.
