Various tea schools held tea ceremonies, and served Matcha (powdered tea) and Sen-cha. In order for the beginners of tea ceremony to be able to attend casually, the procedure for making tea and manners were explained as needed.

Tea Ceremony at Rinsaiji-temple "Chazen ichimi no kai"

At this Zen temple, usually closed to the public, participants tasted tea served by Trainee Zen monks, Unsui, and representatives of two tea schools, and they also experienced seated meditation in the Zen meditation hall, having a glimpse of the authentic tea ceremony and the world of Zen.
